Insulation discounts
From early 2026, eligible households can access discounts on ceiling insulation.
Discounts on ceiling insulation will be available to eligible households from early 2026. The Victorian Government is working to introduce this as a Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) initiative.
The investment will help Victorians save on energy costs while making homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer, while delivering health benefits.
Almost 60% of homes in Victoria either have no ceiling insulation or are under-insulated. Many households could see significant energy bill savings of more than $400 per year on average, and up to $850 in health cost savings annually, by upgrading their insulation.
ERS tech will be registering the VEU product for this project, and welcomes related collaborations.
